BRITISH STANDARD KITEMARK CERTIFIED WATER MIST FIRE EXTINGUISHER

Jactone Marine Range fire extinguishers have been specially approved to Merchant Shipping (Marine Equipment) Regulations SI 2016/1025 as amended and carry the UK Mark of Conformity – The Red Ensign. The Jactone Marine Range Watermist fire extinguishers are designed for use on most common types of fire including class A fires (solid materials) and class F fires (cooking oil and fats). It has also been fire tested* on class B fires (flammable liquids or liquefiable solids). Electrical risk (class E) covered up to 1000v. Available in 3 litre and 6 litre models, both fire extinguishers are complete with the distinctive Jactone colour coded handle, header label and base. They are Kitemark certified to BS EN3, UKCA and CE marked. The Marine Range of certified stored pressure fire extinguishers is the logical choice for companies that specialise in customer safety at sea.

* Please note whilst Jactone Watermist Extinguishers have been Class B fire tested it is not possible to certify this performance under BS EN3 as the fire sizes are outside of EN3 limits. Our fire testing and video evidence confirms safe and very creditable performance for situations where Class B is not the primary risk.

Our patented nozzle technology produces extremely fine water mist droplets which are highly effective in providing a cooling action, suppressing the fire and reducing its oxygen content. These tiny water droplets leave no trace, residue, excess water build up or damage to people, equipment assets or the surrounding environment, leading these extinguishers to often be referred to as dry water mist.
